I realized something recently.
When I decided to start sewing bandanas back in 2021, I was just trying to make cute bandanas for Murray.
After adopting him, I quickly realized there weren’t many cute options for boy dogs. So I taught myself to sew and started making my own.
What started as a hobby eventually grew into a business, and over the years I’ve spent countless hours testing fabrics, refining construction methods, improving fit, and listening to customer feedback.
Looking back, I’ve realized that almost every change I’ve made has had one thing in common.
Making dog bandanas easier.
Not easier for me, but easier for you.
Easy to Buy
Shopping for your dog’s accessories shouldn’t feel complicated.
I’ve worked hard to make the buying process as straightforward as possible. Every product includes a detailed size chart, and if you’re not sure what size to order, I’m always happy to help.
I know every dog is built a little differently, which is why I also offer custom snap placement when needed. Sometimes it’s the little details that make all the difference when it comes to getting the perfect fit.
I also think it’s important to be transparent about processing times. You’ll always know when your order is expected to ship because that information is clearly displayed on the website and you can even check your processing date/order status at any time. I never want my customers wondering when their order is going to ship.
Easy to Put On
Let’s be honest. Most people don’t want to spend time doing a complicated routine just to put a bandana on their dog. They just want to put it on and head out the door.
That’s why my bandanas feature a curved neckline and simple snap closure. There’s no folding required and no complicated system to figure out. Just snap it on and you’re ready to go.
One of my favorite compliments is when customers tell me their husband can finally put the bandanas on correctly. As funny as that sounds, that’s exactly the point. Dog bandanas shouldn’t require complicated instructions.
Easy to Wear
The best dog accessories are the ones you actually use.
That’s why I put so much thought into the little details that make a bandana look and fit better. Prints are always right side up and scaled appropriately for each size, whether your dog wears an XXS or an XL. Seams are pressed flat so the bandana lays nicely against your dog’s neck instead of looking puffy.
Most people may never notice those details individually, but they notice the overall result.
The bandana fits better, looks better, and becomes something you actually reach for on a regular basis.
Easy to Clean
Life with dogs is messy.
Murray and Lucy certainly make sure of that.
Bandanas get covered in dirt, mud, grass, sand, drool, and whatever mystery substance your dog managed to find outside that day.
That’s why I use fabrics that are designed for real life. They’re machine washable, quick drying, and dirt, stain, wrinkle, and snag-resistant.
When a bandana gets dirty, you can toss it in the wash and keep moving. I don’t think dog accessories should require special care instructions or extra work.

When customers told me they didn’t love Sport Pique as much as my other fabrics, I listened and eventually phased it out completely. When I find a better fabric, I thoroughly test it before making the switch. When I discover a way to improve fit, durability, or comfort, I test it thoroughly before implementing it.

I didn’t set out to build a business around making dog bandanas easier. But when I look at every decision I’ve made over the last five years, that’s exactly what happened.

The best compliment I can receive isn’t that a bandana is cute.
It’s when a customer tells me it’s the one they reach for over and over again.
