This one’s been a long time coming— and I’m so excited to finally start sharing it with you all! 

I’ve been saving designs for this collection since last summer, and selected most of the final patterns over six months ago. It feels like this collection has been in the works forever and I could not be more excited for these summer bandanas.

Of course, things don’t always go as planned. There was a big delay with my Adventure Fabric™ order — the fabric base I use (and love!) was out of stock for a few weeks, and my order was pushed back by over 3 weeks. That’s a lifetime when you’re balancing a full-time job and trying to prep a whole new collection behind the scenes. Thankfully, the fabric printing company was eventually able to restock the fabric base I use, and my order should arrive Monday!

Some of my absolute favorite bandanas in this collection are printed on Adventure Fabric, so I can’t wait to finally get them in-hand and start sewing.

With the delay in Adventure Fabric, I’ve had to shift a few things around. My original plan was to launch all of the summer bandanas and bows together in May and focus on restocking the sold out everyday designs in June, but I just won’t have the time to prep everything before the drop. So I’ve moved the patriotic designs to a separate release in June — along with the summer collar bows. I will do my best to launch the restocks in June as well (bark ranger, pine & peaks, and lambie lover) but that’s TBD as of now. 

You all loved the collar bows I launched in April and (very kindly) convinced me to do summer bows. But they are super time-consuming to make, so it made the most sense to include them in the June release as well.

Something I kept in mind while curating this collection:

Last summer, one of the best-selling designs wasn’t beach-themed at all — and I heard from several of you that it was nice to have something summery that didn’t feel tied to the coast. So this year, I made sure to include a few summery bandanas that aren’t beachy, for those of you who want a seasonal look that still works anywhere.

I’ll also be listing any remaining inventory from last year’s Seaside Collection — and there are some beautiful prints in that lineup that won’t last long, and once they’re gone, they’re gone forever.

The summer collection is currently scheduled to launch on Monday, 5/19 at 7PM EST.

Most of the bandanas will be pre-made and ready to ship quickly! I’m already halfway through pre-making all of the Signature Fabric bandanas and will switch to the Adventure Fabric pieces as soon as the fabric arrives.
